Circularity must begin at the source, by reshaping the lifecycle of plastic products. RHINOSHIELD's renowned material technology has evolved from providing military-grade impact protection to prioritizing the recyclability of every product. This ensures that everything we create minimizes its burden and impact on the planet. The following outlines RHINOSHIELD's circular product universe, built upon our various material families:

ShockSpread™ ECO, initially popularized by our SolidSuit phone case, has undergone continuous material innovation. Lab tests confirm its capacity for multiple, repeated recycling cycles, enabling 100% recovery and regeneration into CircularNext phone cases. This process requires no additional virgin materials, significantly reducing RHINOSHIELD's reliance on virgin plastic and decreasing our products' carbon footprint.

Furthermore, SolidSuit phone cases, once recycled, can be transformed not only into CircularNext phone cases, but also into protective cases for AirPods, AirTag, and Apple Watch, as well as interchangeable modular buttons and camera rings. This adds versatility in color combinations, and their detachable design simplifies end-of-life sorting for recycling.

RHINOSHIELD developed ShockSpread™ LUX material technology to create the Clear transparent phone case. This innovation addresses the common issue of other transparent cases yellowing and degrading within months, leading to premature disposal and resource waste. We refined ShockSpread™ LUX to withstand sun exposure and maintain crystal clarity, a quality also featured in our JellyTint colored transparent phone cases.

Even durable cases eventually reach the end of their use. To ensure responsible end-of-life, Clear and JellyTint phone cases can be recycled into AquaStand magnetic water bottle carriers and components for our 2-in-1 ultra lanyard.

Beyond ensuring the recyclability of our own materials, RHINOSHIELD aims for "plastic neutrality" by repurposing plastic waste from oceans and landscapes. Many of our products incorporate recycled materials: functional lanyards and Apple Watch braided straps are primarily made from reclaimed fishing nets, while rPET, derived from recycled PET bottles, is used to create GRIP O, GRIPMAX, and braided lanyards.
